PlanetRead partners are individuals, foundations and corporations who are serious about making a difference with their philanthropy and are willing to engage high-impact approaches for solving problems of illiteracy across the globe.

Get involved:

If you would like to become a part of our work by offering your services, we would be very glad to explore the possibilities. Since the idea of SLS can be used worldwide to improve literacy levels, PlanetRead is slowly expanding its operations to other countries through various programs and partnerships.

No matter which part of the world you come from, there could be some area where you can contribute – you can do research work for us, advise us on the local administrative formalities for potential projects, share your technical knowledge, become an affiliate (for website owners) through some of our other projects, provide us with language expertise in “any” language and so on and so forth.

Here are some ways in which you could get involved:

Volunteer

You could volunteer to work for us on a full time, part time or even on a freelance basis.

Just send us an e-mail to volunteers@planetread.org with the following information:

1. A detailed profile of yourself along with your contact details.
2. In which area do you think you will be able to make a contribution.
3. From where you would like to work.
4. From when and for how long you would like to offer your services.

Do an internship

If you are a student and are interested in doing an internship at any one of the PlanetRead offices, send us an e-mail to interns@planetread.org along with the following info:

1. A detailed profile of yourself along with your contact details.
2. Details of the educational institute you are currently studying in.
3. In which area do you think you will be able to make a contribution.
4. In which of the PlanetRead offices would you like to do the internship
5. From when and for how long you would like to be an intern.

We will process your applications and short listed students will be required to get a letter of recommendation from the concerned Head of department or the Head of Internships at your educational Institute.
